"Riyadh Airports" Company has completed the first phase of the development projects for indoor parking at Terminal (5), which comes within a series of projects to develop and re-engineer the traffic movement at King Khalid International Airport, complementing the strategic direction of the company in improving all services and facilities to contribute in enhancing the passengers’ experience through the Capital's Airport.
"Riyadh Airports" revealed that the parking development projects included restructuring the parking area and establishing new parking lots and allocating approximately 305 parking spaces to its employees. to increase the capacity by 24% to keep pace with the expected growth in the number of passengers and users of the parking lots in the upcoming years.
“Riyadh Airports” has also recently introduced a new self-payment option (STC Pay), which allows parking users to pay directly through the application and exit in record time. This development comes within a variety of options aimed at increasing efficiency and facilitation for the passengers and visitors at Terminal (5), as well as speeding up procedures and save their time and effort.
It is worth mentioning that “Riyadh Airports” has completed the re-engineering of roads in front of Terminal (5), which is part of a series of projects to develop and re-engineer traffic where the traffic movement for departing passengers was separated from the arriving passengers, as well as the allocation of a separate road for each to facilitate traffic, and to reduce traffic congestion to increase the flow of traffic at terminal (5) improving the levels of safety and contribute to accommodate the rapid growth in the number of passengers.
