"Riyadh Airports" Celebrates the 57th National Day of The State of Kuwait at King Khalid International Airport

Riyadh Airports” has participated in the 16th edition of Dubai Airshow 2019, hosted by Dubai World Central (DWC), which started yesterday and will continue until 21st of November in Dubai.

During the event, “Riyadh Airports” was honored with the visit of HE the president of the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) Mr. Abdulhadi Almansouri to the company's stand, in the presence of the Company’s CEO Eng. Mohammed Almaghlouth.

“Riyadh Airports” participation at this event, which serves as a platform for bringing the world's leading airlines and major airports together, comes as a complement to its strategic objectives of making partnerships with professionals from the aviation sector, and as part of its plan to attract different types of specialized companies in the sector, where more than 1300 companies and institutions from 63 countries around the world are participating.

“Riyadh Airports” showcased the most important commercial and investment opportunities at King Khalid International Airport, the capital of Saudi Arabia, which is located at the center of the confluence of the three continents. It also highlighted its most significant achievements, which are in line with its aspirations that the Capital Airport will be ranked 50th among the best airports in the world and reach 37 million passengers by 2023, to enhance the position of the Capital Airport among its regional and international counterparts.

“Riyadh Airports” also provided its visitors at the event with information about the services and facilities of King Khalid International Airport and the new and existing development projects, as well as showcasing the operational performance of the airport and the growth in the number of passengers and flights, pointing out that the total number of passengers at King Khalid International Airport by the end of the 3rd Quarter of the current year 2019, has exceeded more than 20 million passengers, with an increase of 4.81% over the same period of the last year 2018, and the daily average number of passengers exceeded 76,000 passengers, while the total number of flights is 145,391, with an increase of 2.01%.

It is worth to mention that “Riyadh Airports” was present at major international conferences and events in 2019, most notably were the Global Investment in Aviation Summit, Airport Show and World Routes in Australia.
