What E-Participation is

King Khalid International Airport is used by millions of people every year, and run every day by thousands more — airline crews, ground handlers, retailers, government agencies and airport staff. All of them see things we do not.

E-Participation is how Riyadh Airports Company asks them. It is a standing invitation to shape the decisions behind the airport experience: the services we design, the facilities we build, the rules we set and the information we publish.

You do not need to be a specialist to take part, and you do not need a reason. If something about the airport can be better, this is where you say so.

Who can take part

Everyone. Specifically:

• Travelers — citizens, residents and visitors, departing, arriving or transferring
• People meeting or seeing off travelers
• Travelers with disabilities, reduced mobility or additional needs, and the people who support them
• Airlines, ground handlers, retailers, restaurants and other airport partners
• Government agencies operating at the airport
• The airport workforce
• Researchers, students and anyone working with open airport data

How your participation is used

1. We ask. We publish the topic, what we are deciding, what we already know, and the date participation closes.
2. You take part. Through a consultation, an idea, a complaint, a suggestion, a page rating, or a message on one of our channels.
3. We publish what changed. We say what we heard, what we did about it, and — where we did nothing — why not.

Community Participation Policy

Purpose

This policy sets out how Riyadh Airports Company invites, handles and publishes participation from the public and the airport community in relation to King Khalid International Airport.

Who may take part

Participation is open to everyone — citizens, residents and visitors, and organizations operating at or with the airport — unless a particular topic states that it is directed at a specific group.

How we review participation

We review every contribution before it is published. We do this to check that it complies with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to protect the privacy of individuals, and to keep the discussion useful.

We may decide not to publish a contribution, or to remove one that has been published, where it does not meet this policy or the applicable laws. We are not obliged to explain that decision.

Riyadh Airports Company, its employees and its representatives are not responsible for the content of contributions submitted by others, or for the consequences of publishing content that breaches the law or accepted standards.

How we use what you tell us

By taking part, you agree that we may use your contribution to inform our decisions, our services and our published reports. We will not publish your name or contact details alongside your contribution unless you have asked us to.

Your personal data

We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and with our privacy notice. We collect only what we need to answer you or to analyze the response as a whole.

Review

This policy is reviewed at least once a year and whenever the applicable regulations change.

How to make your contribution count

• Keep it within the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Write in clear language — Arabic or English.
• Be specific, factual and brief. Tell us where in the airport, and when.
• Do not include personal data — names, phone numbers, addresses, booking references or identity numbers — in a public contribution. If we need to contact you, use the feedback form instead.
• Do not use offensive or improper language.
• Do not use these channels in a way that affects their performance, security, speed of response or availability for others.
• Submit each contribution once. Submitting it repeatedly does not move it up the queue.
